BalletBoyz’ education work seeks to nurture the existing skills of participants, regardless of ability, and develop self-confidence and trust whilst promoting a wider understanding and appreciation of dance. BalletBoyz aims to develop sustainable partnerships with schools, colleges, community groups and arts organisations for longer-term benefits and to expand access to BalletBoyz performances.
Workshops and Residencies
BalletBoyz workshops offer a fantastic opportunity to interact with company members during two-hour sessions or longer, bespoke residencies. Participants learn BalletBoyz repertoire and are led through choreographic tasks to stimulate and nurture creativity. BalletBoyz workshops and residencies can:
– Enable participants to build trust in a safe and supportive environment
– Encourage and develop problem solving skills through dance
– Bring learning life: workshops can be curriculum linked, animating core subjects including English and History
– Be developed for a range of ages and experiences from beginners to professionals
In addition to our dance education, BalletBoyz also offers opportunities to learn more about film and its use within a dance context.
To book a workshop or residency, contact Fleur Taylor-Sutton, Creative Learning Producer at or 0208 549 8814.
Please note: due to the company’s international and UK touring schedules, bookings are subject to availability.
