After several years of successfully running our Parkinson’s CAN Dance classes at our BalletBoyz studio in Kingston-Upon-Thames, we are delighted to launch our Parkinson’s CAN Dance online resource, and will soon be releasing this on DVD so that you can take part and enjoy our classes from home.
Packed with a combination of fun and joyful dance exercises, these classes take inspiration from the stage and screen work of the internationally acclaimed dance company BalletBoyz, as well as exploring themes, characters and dances from classical ballets such as The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty, and songs from musical theatre. The resource and DVD feature both seated and standing exercises, specially designed and taught by BalletBoyz Parkinson’s CAN Dance teachers, Rebecca Trevitt and Annie Breckell, who break down each sequence step-by-step, and then dance with you to musical accompaniment by BalletBoyz Parkinson’s CAN Dance musicians, Charlotte Harding and Nathan Tinker.
BalletBoyz dancers also feature in a selection of exercises, so you can learn, dance and be inspired with the BalletBoyz in your own home.
The DVD can be bought here.
