Dance Together was a BalletBoyz inclusive dance project running from 2016-2018. Delivered in partnership with Strathmore School, a local school for learners with complex learning needs. It was an exemplary project which celebrated young dancers from all backgrounds coming together to share the joy of dance. In 2016 & 2017, we also partnered with the Grey Court School and The Royal Ballet School.

BalletBoyz dancers and Strathmore students were paired up to dance together each week, enabling each child to enjoy 1-to-1 interaction. Sessions focused on learning from each other, building confidence and trust, creating and exploring movement and having fun. Students also visited the BalletBoyz studios and watched a BalletBoyz dress rehearsal at Richmond Theatre. Parents, family and friends were invited to special sharing events to come and see the amazing work in progress. ​
