Update on COVID-19

We’re aware that the past week has been incredibly difficult for people, particularly creatives. Despite all of this, we want to assure you that you will still be able to enjoy BalletBoyz material and content online if you’re looking for something to take your mind off everything that’s going on. Over the next few weeks we will be sharing a wide range of short films, exercise-from-home videos, excerpts from shows, and in a few weeks’ time, you’ll even be able to watch a full-length version of Deluxe! Find out more here

Just by watching, sharing and interacting with this content, you will be making a massive difference in helping us support our freelancers and artists. If you can spare a small donation as well, we’d value it immensely – every little helps.

Following the Prime Minister’s recommendations regarding COVID-19 on 16 March, we are very sad to announce that all of our remaining performances of our Deluxe UK Spring Tour have been cancelled.

We are devastated by this cancellation, but understand the necessity of keeping high-risk groups of the population safe and secure. Despite being unable to perform our latest show to new and returning audiences, we still really want to share Deluxe with you all. In the coming months, we will continue to increase our digital output and invite you to enjoy the work we’ve made, online, from the comfort of your home. Losing yourself in the escapism of theatre and dance remains invaluable, especially during unprecedented times. Keep an eye out on our website and social media channels for updates on a calendar of digital content that we will be sharing with you.

Rest assured that we will honour the terms of our contracts and uphold professional relationships to support our artists, freelancers and staff during these uncertain times when supporting each other remains vital. In order to help us do this, we ask that you consider donating the value of your tickets to the theatre where you were going to see the show where possible.

Thank you very much for your continued support and interest in our company and our work. We value it immensely.

Since the Coronavirus outbreak we have also been doing everything that we can to keep people safe within our building. This includes introducing additional cleaning measures and monitoring government guidance closely.

We have discontinued our classes programme for the foreseeable future.

  • When you cough or sneeze, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the crook of your elbow (not your hands).

  • Dispose of used tissues in the bin straight away.

  • Wash your hands with soap and water often. Use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available.

  • Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell.

  • Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.
